Get our a piece of paper or use an spreadsheet on your computer. Create three columns. Lable the first column “Must Have,” the middle column “Nice to Have,” and the last column “Perfect World.”

For items that you would really like to have, but could do without, place them in the “Nice to Have” column. Finally, those items that if money and circumstance were not object and would make your dream home, well, perfect – put them in the “Perfect World” column.
