• Inspect Roof for Storm Damage- Hire a professional to inspect your roof for any damage that might need to be fixed
• Inspect Downspouts and Gutters for Storm Damage- Hire a professional to inspect downspouts and gutters for damage that might nee to be fixed
• Snake Tubs, Sinks and Shower Drains to Unclog Them- You can do this yourself, or you can hire a professional plumber
• Vacuum Dust and Debris from Bathroom Exhaust Fans- This is a maintenance item that often gets overlooked, it is a good idea to clear the dust from your bathroom exhaust fans a couple times a year
• Clean Refrigerator Drip Trays and Vacuum the Condenser Coils- If you aren’t sure how to do this, consult a professional service who can help you
• Clean Showerheads and Faucet Aerators- This helps you get the most from your water pressure in your showerheads and faucets
• Clean Dishwasher- Deep clean your dishwasher a couple times a year
• Test Fire Extinguishers- In the event of a fire, you want to make sure your fire extinguishers are not expired and that they work
• Test GFI Outlets- If you aren’t sure how to test your outlets you can consult a professional electrician and they will be able to assist you
• Test Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Detector- It is a good idea to test every 3 months or so to make sure they are working properly
