7 MUST HAVE MASTER BATH TRENDS

7 MUST HAVE MASTER BATH TRENDS FOR 2021

It is a new year, and like everything else, home design evolves! And this means we have a list of 7 MUST HAVE MASTER BATH TRENDS FOR 2021:

(1) Soaking Tubs- This is a must and is at the top of our list for master bathrooms! Space-saving soaking tubs, specifically free standing, flat-bottom tubs, are simple and work well with many bathroom styles. Smaller sized soaking tubs take less time to fill and won’t use as much water as a large tub.

(2) Floating Vanities- Floating vanities hung on the wall are clean, airy and make it much easier to clean your bathroom floors. There are plenty of customization choices for you when it comes to sinks, faucets and hardware to match your floating vanity. The clean lines you get with a floating vanity will make your master bath shine.

(3) Back Lit Mirrors- Back lit mirrors are statement pieces that can be decorative and functional at the same time. The embedded feature gives of light without added glare, reflections and can also be used as a nightlight when dimmed. They also create a glowing effect on the wall which gives the illusion of a floating mirror.

(4) Marble- Currently marble is popular, in some form or another, in master bathroom planning. It comes in a variety of colors, markings, and veining. In fact, it is hard to find two pieces of marble that look the same and this makes it a popular natural material. You can add something unique or out of the ordinary when using marble for flooring or on your walls. Marble has a minimal, luxurious, and tasteful feel.

(5) Wood-Like Tile and Heated Flooring- Popular selections for bathroom flooring materials include porcelain and ceramic tile that looks like natural hardwood flooring. Porcelain and ceramic tile offer many benefits like durability, hypoallergenic characteristics, resistance to moisture and bacteria, easy to maintain and clean, available in many sizes and stylish patterns. You can also add an extra feature with heated flooring.

(6) Nude Colors- Nude colors are a great way to design your master bath. Incorporate nude color schemes when planning wall paint, flooring, vanities, sinks, tubs, showers, etc. Ceramics and light-colored wood or wood-like materials are also great options for this color scheme.

(7) Spa Oasis- Who wouldn’t love to have their own spa at home!? Transform your master bath into a space where you can soak away your stress and unwind at the end of the day. Consider these features to create your very own spa oasis: multiple shower heads, steam shower, therapeutic lighting, deep soaking tub, separate toilet room, private vanity, Zen-styled sink(s), floor to ceiling tile, heated flooring, an anything that creates a natural and peaceful environment
